ESSENTIALS TO COURSE MAINTENANCE
AGRONOMICS
Consistency is key - my goal is to maintain the course to the members desires consistently, while maintaining a healthy stand of turf
Fantastic summer conditions are achieved through spring practices: aeration, dragging turf to stand it up for a clean cut, topdressing, and proper fertilization
During the summer heat, the main goal is to maintain the course, with proper fertilization, mowing and watering - keep the turf healthy and in good playing conditions
In Fall, recovery is crucial - aeration, fertilization and topdressing to help drive roots into the soil, as well as this is a great time to add seed into weaker areas to promote a more full and healthy stand of turf
LEADERSHIP
I create organized schedules that help portray a clear goal in to the staff and make the time on property as efficiently as possible
By being efficient, we can stay out of the golfers way to create an experience with the least amount of interruptions
This then allows myself and staff to have a positive work life balance
Listening is important - I let staff be heard and am willing to try most suggestions to help with efficiency without compromising quality of the task
I will seek out member comment on the course to help create a golf course that they desire
This agronomic and managerial approach, is all set up with the goal to create an amazing experience for the members and employees
